　香りを感じるのは一瞬、ですがその記憶は永遠です。想い出はやがて幻の花となり、いつまでも消えぬ香りと共に、心の奥底に深く漂い続ける。
私の傍で、いつまでも散らずに舞い続ける花。この作品はそうしたイメージに基づいて創られています。願わくは夢幻の色彩が、音の香りとなって聴く人の心に届きますように。(島田尚美)

島田尚美(Naomi Shimada)

東京音楽大学作曲科卒業、同大学院修了。作曲を西村朗氏に師事。

2009年『コミカル★パレード』、2016年『焔』が、全日本吹奏楽コンクール課題曲に採用された。この2作品からもうかがえるとおり、親しみやすい作品から現代曲まで幅広い作風を持ち、多くのファンに指示されている。

Our memories of a landscape are inseparable from its scent.

Although I had only experienced this scent for an instant, its memory lasts forever. This memory eventually becomes a phantom flower that continues to drift deep inside my heart along with a scent that never fades.

The flower continues to dance by my side without ever falling apart. This piece was inspired by such an image. I hope that its magical tones will transform into the scent of music and reach the heart of everyone who hears it.
