タンブーラン

作曲をしたゴセックは、管弦楽から室内楽・声楽曲まで幅広く作品を残しました。

交響曲のような大作はもちろん、演奏時間の短かい教育的楽曲も多く、中でもヴァイオリンの為に書かれた「ガヴォット」は世代を越えて特に知られています。

「タンブーラン」というタイトルは、フランスの民俗楽器「タンブーラン」から取られています。

後に舞曲となったそのリズムが全般に散りばめられたこの曲は、「ガヴォット」に次いで多く演奏されている作品と言ってもいいでしょう。

このアレンジは、原曲の通りリズムを最大限生かしたものにしました。

とても短い曲なので、コンサートの幕開けやアンコールピースにピッタリです。

Tambourin was originally composed for flute and orchestra and is from the larger work “Le triomphe de la Republique ou Le camp de Grandpre”, a divertissement-lyrique.

This delightfully bright and lyrical arrangement for clarinet quartet is is suitable as a concert opener or encore.
