歌劇「カヴァレリア・ルスティカーナ」　ハイライト

この曲は、ジョヴァンニ・ヴェルガによって書かれた戯曲を元にピエトロ・マスカーニが作曲したオペラです。このアレンジは、そんなオペラの中で演奏される多くの曲から抜粋して構成されたものです。

オペラの中でも一番有名とされる「間奏曲」を中心とした構成です。

一部原曲とは違ったアプローチでのアレンジがなされていますが、クラリネット四重奏という編成で最大限演奏効果が発揮出来るように配慮された結果です。

多くの場面の曲が使われており、聞く人を楽しませてくれる様な内容になっています。

別版「前奏曲とシチリアーナ」と共に一緒に演奏しても演奏効果は高いと思います。

Consid ered one of the classic verismo operas, it premiered on 17 May 1890 at the Teatro Costa nzi in Rome.

This collection draws on music from the entire ope ra, featuring the well known Intermezzo as the centerpiece.

Yoshino took great care to adapt the original score to the medium of clarinet quartet, paying special attention to the qualities of the ensemble while staying as true to the comp oser’s original intent as possible.

Although this collection can be performed alone, it is most effective when played with Yoshino’s arrangement of the opera’s “Overture and Siciliana”, also published by Nexuss Music.
