マリンダイビング組曲

1楽章：モーニング・クルーズ - Morning Cruise
陽が上りつつある早朝、港に泊まったダイビングボートに機材を積み込み、出航を待っている。やがてボートのエンジンがかかり、ダイビング・ポイントに向かって走り出す。途中うねりの大きなところがあるので、船酔いに気をつけて。

2楽章：ソフト・コーラル - Soft Coral
最初のダイビング・ポイントは、白い砂に柔らかい珊瑚（ソフト・コーラル）やイソギンチャクが群生する浅めのポイント。クマノミをびっくりさせないように、ゆっくり静かに泳ごう。

3楽章：サーディン・ラン - Sardine Run
ボートでランチのあとは、流れの速い深めのポイントに移動してもう1 本潜る。
ほら、銀色に光るイワシの大群（サーディン・ラン）がこちらにやってきますよ。イルカたちもイワシを食べようと集まってきました。

原曲はサクソフォン4重奏のために書かれ、フィグール・サクソフォン・カルテットにより初演されました。

楽器編成

金山徹(Tohru Kanayama)

1960年山口県生まれ。小学校の金管バンドでトランペット／ユーフォニアムを、中学･高校の吹奏楽部でクラリネットを担当。武蔵野音楽大学卒業。卒業後はマルチリード、キーボード奏者、作編曲家として、ミュージカルの公演、コンサート、レコーディングに参加。吹奏楽や管楽器のための作編曲も多く、ポップスを中心に、ヤマハ・ミュージック・メディア、ブレーン、ウィンズスコア、イースター音楽出版、フォスターミュージック、ミュージック・エイトからの出版をはじめ、レコーディング、コンクール、コンサート、映画のための作編曲作品多数。

第14回21世紀の吹奏楽"饗宴"入選。クラリネットを千葉国夫、村井祐児、柏野晋吾、西村一の各氏に師事。作曲は池田一秀、池田悟の各氏に師事したものの、ほぼ独学。江古田楽器祭総合プロデューサー。

Morning Cruise

As the sun rises in the early morning, load your equipment on the diving boat at the harbor and wait for its departure. The engine eventually kicks into life and the boat brings you towards the diving site. Be careful of seasickness as some big waves will roll the boat along the way.

Soft Coral

The first diving site is a shallow area where soft corals and sea anemones thrive on the white sand. Swim slowly and quietly, and don't scare the clownfish.

Sardine Run

After lunch on the boat, move on to a deeper site with a faster flow for the next dive. Look at the massive shoal of silver sardines gleaming under the sun coming your way. Even the dolphins have arrived to prey on the sardines.
