この曲は、「昔々、ある冒険家が新しい大陸を目指して大海原を旅した架空の物語」をイメージして作曲しました。
まだ正確な世界地図が存在しなかった時代、冒険家は仲間たちと共に、大いなる希望を胸に船出します。旅の途中、新しい土地や部族と出会い、さらに未知なる大陸を目指して帆を進めます。
強い風が船を後押しし、やがて船は大洋の真ん中へ。穏やかな波の上、船の周りには小鳥がさえずり、波がやさしく包み込むように揺れています。冒険家はそこで新たな決意を胸に抱き、再び水平線の彼方へと旅立っていきます。
この曲が描く情景を思い浮かべながら、さまざまなフレーズを楽しんで演奏してみてください。

This piece was composed with the image of a fictional story of an adventurer who once upon a time traveled across the great ocean in search of a new continent.
At a time when there was no such thing as an accurate map of the world, he and his companions set sail with great hopes. On their journey, they meet new lands and tribes, and set sail for new continents. Strong winds propel the ship and it soon arrives in the middle of the ocean. Birds chirp and waves gently lap atop the ship on the gentle waves. The adventurers are filled with renewed determination. He sets off for an unknown continent beyond the horizon.
