ル・モ・エモシォネル

仲田守さんの七十の記念アルバム用に委嘱をいただいた書いたもので、一言でいえば、子を思う親の心を歌う曲です。
そろそろ六十という私も、子供らがいくつになるまで見届けられるかと思うことがままあったりします。五十を前に見届けられぬ未練を語った母の言葉がいまだに残っているからなのでしょう。そのような事情はなくとも、情にはとりわけ厚い仲田さんのこと、お嬢さんへの思いもきっと人一倍なはず。訥々と語りかけたり、心のうちが迸り出たり、のいろいろなル・モ・エモシォネル（感情をこめた言葉）を描いてみました。（長生淳）

長生淳(Jun Nagao)

1964年茨城県生まれ。東京藝術大学作曲科卒業、同大学院修士課程修了。

作曲を永冨正之・野田暉行両氏に師事。2000年度武満徹作曲賞、（財）日本交響楽振興財団第24回作曲賞、第16回日本管打・吹奏楽アカデミー賞（作編曲部門）受賞。全日本吹奏楽連盟作曲コンクール第１位入賞。第４回クードヴァン国際吹奏楽曲作曲コンクール第2位受賞。令和5年度JBA下谷賞受賞。21世紀の吹奏楽“響宴”会員。

おもな作品には《交響曲》《翠風の光》《楓葉の舞》《紺碧の波濤》《Paganini Lost in Wind》《久堅の幹》など。

LE MOT EMOTIONNEL

This piece was commissioned by Mr. Mamoru Nakata for his 70thanniversary album. In a nutshell, this piece seeks to depict the love of parents for their children.

As I am about to turn 60 myself, I often wonder how much time I have to watch my children grow up. Perhaps this is because I still remember my mother telling me about her regret at being unable to witness her children reach the age of 50. Regardless of this, Mr. Nakata is a particularly affectionate man, and I am sure of his immeasurable love for his daughter. In this piece, I attempted to depict various "le mot motionnel" (words of emotion), such as halting words and the outpouring of emotions.
