大阪教育大学教養学科芸術専攻音楽コース卒業。同大学大学院芸術文化専攻修了。作曲を澤田博、北川文雄の両氏に師事。

主な作品に、バリトン独唱と管弦楽のためのカンタータ「倭建命 流離譚」、トランペット八重奏曲「四季の奏鳴」など。吹奏楽作品に、「火の断章」（2008年度全日本吹奏楽コンクール課題曲）、「Bye Bye Violet」、「愛の祭壇」など。

We are always puzzled when we notice the unexpected ambiguity of physical sensations that alert us to the passage of time. But we also know that if we were to take a step forward, the scenes that pass us by will immediately become a thing of the past. There is no way people can remain static in the flux of the changing world. That is why there is an air of nobility around flowers that bloom by the roadside, and why there will be somebody today who is cowering and seized by a sense of yearning. These are all ageold expressions of longing and love.

Flowers laugh and flowers sing. People tend to fall in love with the intense desire to break away from the bonds of intimacy. This has nothing to do with the passage of time. The color of the wind that gently passes under the crown of the beautiful and dignified lily is that of a vivid emerald.
