ツィゴイネル・フェスト（ジプシーの祭）

オペレッタ『メリー・ウィドゥ』や、ワルツ『金と銀』等でよく知られるレハールの管弦楽作品です。

オペレッタ『ツィゴイネル・リーベ（ジプシーの恋）』の中で使われる曲を中心に、レハール自身が管弦楽用に編集したもので、Ballet Scene（バレエ・シーン）という副題が付けられています。

異国情緒あふれるジプシー民謡風の旋律や、テンポの速い舞曲など数曲を組み合わせた「小組曲」の様な構成で大変親しみやすい内容となっています。

このアレンジは大編成で書かれていますが、人数は30名程度でも十分演奏が成り立つ様になっています。

編成上ツィンバロンが入っていますが、無くても支障が出ないようVib.などの音盤打楽器にcue.が書いてありますのでご利用ください。

Also known as “Ballet Scene”, the three act opera tells the story of the daughter of a Romanian landowner, engaged to a man of her own class but in love with a gypsy violinist.

As a result, Leh r’s score incorporates gypsy melodic material filled with exoticism and fast dance tempos.

Kobayashi’s suite in an approachable collection of several piec es from the operetta, arranged for large wind ensemble.

However, parts are cued so to allow the suite to be successfully performed with groups with as few as 30 players.
