「8つのロシア民謡」より
ロシアの作曲家リャードフによって作曲された作品です。作曲者自身の故郷であるロシアの民謡8曲を用い組曲として構成された作品です。
室内楽的要素の多いこの作品はアンサンブル作品として再構成してもおかしくないと思い、今回弦バスが入る編成でアレンジをしました。
本来は8つの楽章で構成されていますが、今回はその中から「道化歌（私は蚊と踊る）」「子守唄」「村の踊り」の3曲を抜粋しました。
構成上「村の踊り」の終わり方は原曲と若干変えてあります。
“Eight Russian Folksongs” is a suite of eight pieces based on traditional Russian folksongs, composed by Anatoly Lyadov.
I a rranged this work for a woodwind ensemble adding a string bass because this work has many elements of the chamber music.
The original has eight movements, but this arrangement consists of three pieces of “Humorous Song (I Danced with the Gnat)”, “Cradle Song” and “Village Dance Song".
The arrangements are true to the composer’s origin al scores with only minor changes in the “Village Dance Song” t o accommodate the instrumentation.
