3つの小品

この作品は、1969年に刊行されていた「カワイバンドニュース」という小冊子に掲載するために作曲され、それぞれ〔悲歌〕〔瞑想〕〔憂い〕とタイトルが付けられています。

この冊子には、吹奏楽関係者による時評・吹奏楽講座・吹奏楽作品紹介・室内楽小品・随想・楽会だより・広告で構成されており、作品は「室内楽小品」として、1曲ずつ3冊に分けて掲載されていました。

元々は2本のトランペット・2本のトロンボーンのため書かれた作品ですが、今回復刻するに際し、より多くの方に取り組んで頂ける様、原典版の編成に加え6つの編成による四重奏版を制作致しました。

いずれの曲もゆったりとしたテンポの作品です。

コンサートを彩るプログラムの1つとして演奏することはもちろん、ハーモニーをしっかり確認しながら取り組む他、美しい旋律の歌い方などを学ぶいいテキストになっています。

Each of the movements, titled “Elegie” “Meditation” and “Melancholie” respectively, appeared in an edition of the news under the title “a chamber music short piece”.
NEXUSS music has gathered them together and made them available as a single suite.

The original instrumentation was for two trumpets and two trombones, but additional versions are available.

All three movements are slow in tempo and allow performers to sing beautiful melodies.

Although intended primarily as teaching material, individual movements or the entire suite are suitable for concert use.
