ダンソン第2番

メキシコの作曲家アルトゥーロ・マルケスの「ダンソン2番」は、グスターボ・ドゥダメル指揮ベヌズエラ・シモン・ボリバル・ユース・オーケストラの2007年の欧米ツアーでプログラムに組み込まれた。

同楽団の演奏に対する反響の大きさから、「ダンソン2番」は同楽団の代表曲の一つとして定着した。

また、この曲をきっかけに、この作曲家の他の作品も発見され、世界各地やラテンアメリカで広く演奏されるようになってきている。

シンフォニック・ウィンド・オーケストラのための編曲は、オリバー・ニッケルが担当した。

Danz n no. 2 by the Mexican composer Arturo M rquez was included on the program of the Sim n Bol var Youth Orchestra of Venuzuela conducted by Gustavo Dudamel on their 2007 tour of Europe and the United States. As a result of the strong public response to the orchestra's performance of the piece, Danz n no. 2 has established itself as one of the signature pieces performed by the orchestra. It has also opened the door for the discovery of other pieces by the composer that are increasingly being performed throughout the world and extensively in Latin America. The arrangement for Symphonic Windorchestra is made by Oliver Nickel.
