挾間美帆(Miho Hazama)

1986年生まれ。2009年国立音楽大学音楽文化デザイン学科作曲専攻卒業。

作曲を夏田昌和、丸山和範の各氏に師事。

大学在学中は、国立音大ニュータイドジャズオーケストラに所属。2007年の「山野ビッグバンドジャズコンテスト」ではバンドは最優秀賞に、自身も優秀ソリスト賞を獲得。

08年のコンテストにはコンサートミストレスとして出場、コンテスト史上初めて自身の作曲したオリジナル曲を演奏し、2年連続最優秀賞の栄冠に輝く。在学中より作編曲活動を行なう。08年、東京オペラシティ・コンサートホールで初演された山下洋輔「ピアノ・コンチェルト第3番<エクスプローラー>」のオーケストレーションを担当、絶賛を博し一躍大きな注目を集める。

これまでに、雲井雅人サックス四重奏団をはじめサキソフォンやトランペットのアンサンブルに委嘱作品を、東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団、兵庫芸術文化センター管弦楽団、東京佼成ウィンドオーケストラ、ヤマハ吹奏楽団などに作品を提供。また、テレビ朝日系「題名のない音楽会」出演や、自身のピアノトリオ「m_unit」でのライブなど、その幅広い音楽活動からは目が離せない。

STUDIO GHIBLI ANIME MEDLEY

This piece is a medley of signature songs from films directed by Hayao Miyazaki. It incorporates motifs from songs that could not fit into the medley, allowing listeners to fully enjoy the world of Miyazaki's animations.

After a short introduction based on "Path of the Wind," the medley features "My Neighbor Totoro" (1988) with "My Neighbor Totoro" and "Sanpo." Perform these pieces with the cheerful feeling of playing with Totoro and his forest friends.

Next, via a transition by the lower voices, it continues with "Carrying You" from "Castle in the Sky" (1986) and "Legend of the Wind" from "Nausica of the Valley of the Wind" (1984). Cherish the melodies and obbligatos, and enjoy the beautiful harmonies.

The medley then moves to "Always With Me" from "Spirited Away" (2001), and the finale is the theme song from "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea" (2008). Listen carefully to each other and enjoy the ensemble, as melodies are passed around different sections.
