メモリア

この作品は、作曲家としてデビュー時より大変お世話になり、数々の機会や知識を与えて下さった仲田守氏へ捧げる作品となります。今までの感謝の気持ちが込めながら作曲しました。
この曲を演奏して下さる方の「メモリア」となるような作品になれば幸いです。（江原大介）

◎演奏について
・全体の音量バランスに気を付け、ソロパートが引き立つように吹奏楽パートはなるべく控えめにすることが望ましいです。
・オプションパートを含め、全ての楽器を使って演奏する場合は、慎重にソロと伴奏のバランスを見極めながら演奏してください。あるいは、ソロパートをマイク等で音を拾って音量増幅させ、ポップス・ステージのような演奏スタイルにしても良いかもしれません。
・Fから出てくるサクソフォン伴奏のみになる部分は、ソロを吹く仲田守氏とサクソフォンパートだけで演奏し、疑似アンサンブルを体感できるようにと考案しました。

※ソロパートについては、任意の楽器で演奏できるように各対応パート譜を入れてあります。

江原大介(Daisuke Ehara)

1982年東京都生まれ。東京音楽大学卒業、桐朋学園大学研究科を経て東京芸術大学大学院修士課程修了。これまでに作曲を有馬礼子、池辺晋一郎、糀場富美子、権代敦彦、安良岡章夫の各氏に師事。第1回全日本吹奏楽連盟作曲コンクール第1位受賞。

クラシック、現代音楽を中心に作曲活動をしてきたが、2009年全日本吹奏楽コンクール課題曲「躍動する魂」の作曲以後、吹奏楽作品を多く作曲、各社より録音、出版されている。

MEMORIA：Composer: Daisuke EHARA

This piece was composed for Mr. Mamoru Nakata in 2022. In 2023, I wrote an arrangement of it for the tenor saxophone and wind orchestra.

Its title, “Memoria,” means “memory” in Latin. The piece unfolds with the development of its motif through various keys, as if it were a journey through a collection of memories. Different scenes are presented in the course of this, and this piece can be thought of as a journey to recall them.

Although the basic structure of the piece is based on classical compositional principles, I have also incorporated the use of jazz chords to create a lyrical style.

This piece is dedicated to Mr. Nakata, who has been very kind to me since my debut as a composer and has given me many opportunities while sharing his knowledge with me. I composed this piece as a way of expressing my gratitude to him.

I hope this piece can become a “memoria” for those who have performed it.

Performace notes

Pay attention to the overall balance of volume and try to keep the wind orchestral part as subdued as possible so that the solo part can stand out.

When performing with all instruments, including the optional parts, make sure to balance the solo part carefully with the accompaniment during the performance. Alternatively, the volume of the solo part can be amplified through the use of a microphone, and the performance style can also be adjusted to create something that resembles a popstyle performance.

The part with only the saxophone accompaniment from letter F features only Mr. Nakata’s solo and the saxophone part. My goal was to create a pseudoensemble experience for the audience.
