レクイエム 夢の星座
原曲は木下宣子先生の詩による歌曲で、夭折した子供たちに向ける優しいまなざしを綴った詩に感銘を受け、木下先生に直接お手紙を差し上げて作曲のお許しをいただいて作曲しました。2016年奏楽堂日本歌曲コンクール第23回作曲部門・中田喜直賞の部にて優秀賞を受賞した作品でもあります。曲は、自由な調性・形式となっており、14小節目（ソプラノ）や36小節目（バリトン）は小さい子供に語りかけるようなイメージです。
天上の子どもたちが幸せに暮らしていることを願ってやみません。

REQUIEM - DREAM CONSTELLATION
The original of this piece is a song set to music by Ms. Nobuko Kinoshita. I was so impressed with the poem, which describes her kind gaze toward children who died young, that I wrote directly to her and asked her permission to compose this song. The music is free in tonality and form, and the 14th bar (soprano) and 36th bar (baritone) are like speaking to a small child. I hope that the children in heaven are living happily ever after.
