「アシタカせっ記」について

「アシタカせっ記」は、映画「もののけ姫」の重要なテーマの1つであり、オープニングやエンディングの他に、作中のここぞというシーンで使われています。

この神秘的な音楽は、素晴らしい曲をたくさん世に送り出している久石譲先生が作曲されました。

タイトルの「せっ記」というのは宮崎駿監督の造語で「人の耳から耳へと伝えられた物語」という意味だそうです。

「もののけ姫」といえば、森、湖、山、川などの自然の風景がとても幻想的で美しく、そして主人公アシタカが自分にかけられた呪いに勇敢に立ち向かう姿が感動的な作品です。

幻想的(牧歌的)な表現、そして感情表現を得意とするオーボエにはピッタリな作品だと思います。

この編曲は2016年2月26日にテレビ朝日系「報道ステーション」で生演奏をさせて頂いた際に、井上一平さんにアレンジして頂いたものです。

たった1本のオーボエによって奏でられる「もののけ姫」の素晴らしい世界をお楽しみ頂けたら、そして耳から耳へと伝えて頂けたら幸いです。（荒 絵理子）

◇The Legend of Ashitaka

The Legend of Ashitaka is one of the important musical themes in the film Princess Mononoke; not only is it used in the opening and ending, but in several key scenes of the film. This magical piece of music is by the composer Joe Hisaishi, who has produced so many wonderful works. In the film Princess Mononoke, I find the depiction of the landscapes such as forests, lakes, mountains and rivers so beautiful and full of fantasy. Also, the bravery of the hero Prince Ashitaka who fights his curse moves me very much. I think the oboe, which excels in expressing fantasies and emotions, is a perfect instrument for this music.This arrangement was made by Ippei Inoue for my live performance on TV Asahi’s “Hodo Station” program on 26 February 2016. It would give me great pleasure if people would enjoy the wonderful world of Princess Mononoke performed on a solo oboe.(Eriko Ara)
