大阪教育大学教養学科芸術専攻音楽コース卒業。同大学大学院芸術文化専攻修了。作曲を澤田博、北川文雄の両氏に師事。

主な作品に、バリトン独唱と管弦楽のためのカンタータ「倭建命 流離譚」、トランペット八重奏曲「四季の奏鳴」など。吹奏楽作品に、「火の断章」（2008年度全日本吹奏楽コンクール課題曲）、「Bye Bye Violet」、「愛の祭壇」など。

DREAM DUST IN THE DARK

The composition of this piece was inspired by the night view from the skyscrapers in Tokyo. The more vivid this view is, the more it feels like a product of human design. I cannot help but wonder how many dreams this view has fulfilled and how many it has destroyed.

The phrase "in the dark" in the title of this piece does not refer to the darkness of the night, but that which has been concealed and which people are oblivious to. Unfortunately, almost all dreams are ultimately broken. I have a special affection for these melancholic fragments that have been scattered throughout the sky as dust without the knowledge of anyone. However, I will not attempt to gather them together and assemble them. Nor will I mourn for them. I will just stare intently at them.
