ドヴォルザークの交響曲第8番の第3楽章「Allegretto grazioso」は、3/4拍子のメランコリックな甘くけだるいワルツで、最後は2/4拍子のボヘミア民俗舞曲風に変化する。この楽章は典型的なメヌエットやスケルツォではなく、ブラームスの交響曲第1番や第2番の第3楽章に共通するような「間奏曲」である。

The third movement, ‘Allegretto grazioso’, of Dvor k's eighth symphony is a melancholic 'sweet and languid' waltz in 3/4 time, which at the end changes into a more Bohemian folk dance in 2/4 time. The movement is not the typical minuet or scherzo, but an ‘intermezzo’ akin to the third movements of the first and second symphony by Brahms.
